A former journalist and actor, Trevor has been involved in the arts all his life – in his early life as a performer, director or writer – and latterly as an arts administrator.  With a strong background in print media and marketing, for six years he was the Festival Director for the Glenelg Jazz Festival in Adelaide, during which time he was a director of an event management company, EventsOz.  He joined Dancenorth in 2005 as the General Manager and from 2009 to 2011 was the CEO of Mirndiyan Gununa Aboriginal Corporation on Mornington Island.

Karin Palmer, Operations Manager/Administrator

This is also Karin’s second stint in her role as Operations Manager/Administrator. She joined the company back in 2001 and during the next nine years saw enormous changes in the organisation.  After an 18-month sojourn in real estate and “other things” she was delighted to be lured back in early 2012. In 2010, Karin and her husband Errol were appointed life members of the company for their extraordinary contributions to Dancenorth.
