Luke Hanna

Luke was a graduate of the New Zealand School of Dance in 2006 with a Diploma in Performance Dance, majoring in contemporary.

Luke then went on to work full time with Black Grace Dance Company. As part of the company he embarked on a six week tour of USA and Canada.  Luke has also toured NZ with Black Grace and worked with other choreographers such as Daniel Belton and Sarah Lawrey. He has also performed with Australian Dance Theatre in LA.

Luke joined Dancenorth in 2009 as a guest dancer for Nowhere Fast, then went on to complete the national tour of Nightcafe.

In late 2009 Luke was nominated for the prestigious Rolex mentor award.
