Nicola Leahey
Adelaide born, 20 year old Nicola Leahey is a 2009 graduate of the New Zealand School of Dance. In her final year, Nicola performed in works such as Shona McCullagh's Love, X 300 by Francis Rings and Paul Taylor's Airs under the direction of Richard Chen See of the Paul Taylor Dance Company.
Prior to this Nicola trained in classical ballet and contemporary dance at Terry Simpson Studios, attaining the R.A.D. Solo Seal Award in 2006. Nicola performed in the first installment of To Left Front by Felecia Hick in 2007.
In 2008 she performed in Ross McCormack's work Symbiotic featuring in the New Zealand School of Dance Graduation Season and in 2009 was a guest dancer with Dancenorth, performing in Ross McCormack's work Nowhere Fast.
