Thomas Gundry Greenfield

Adelaide based, Thomas, works as an independent artist in dance, dance theatre, roving street performance/acrobatics, cabaret, television and film. Thomas’s back ground comes predominantly from sports and he also has a strong background in Break Dance and KRUMP. Thomas is featured in Australia’s KRUMP documentary ‘Burn City’, released in 2009.

In 2007 Thomas performed with the Australian Dance Theatre (ADT) in Larissa McGowan’s Ignition season piece ‘S/HE’ and has continued to work extensively with ADT. Thomas graduated from Adelaide College of the Arts in 2009 with a Bachelor of Dance Performance. Thomas also works with Slack Taxi, a roving street performance company nationally and internationally.

Thomas joined Dancenorth in 2010 with performances during the year including Raewyn Hill’s the cry, Ross McCormack’s Nowhere Fast and Rob Tannion’s FreeFall. Thomas was named as a 'Dancer to watch' in Dance Australia's Critics' Survey and is currently performing in Dancenorth's Double Bill season.
