Masterclass series

Dancenorth is introducing a masterclass programme to provide secondment opportunities to tertiary students and graduates. Conducted over two separate weeks, the masterclass programme will offer 15 places to dance practitioners to work with Artistic Director, Raewyn Hill.

The week will include dancers attending class with the company dancers, coaching sessions with Raewyn Hill and Rehearsal Director, Bradley Chatfield and participation in task based movement creation. Dancenorth will be hands-on over this time ensuring that all participants receive knowledge directly from professionals working within the Australian dance industry.

There will be two master class weeks for eligible secondments in 2010.  These weeks will run from Monday 14 June to Friday 18 June and from 12 July to 16 July 2010 and cost of $400/week.
