Hsin-Ju Chiu

Hsin-Ju started dancing when she was five. She was awarded with a scholarship from Queensland University of Technology to study a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance) degree in 2003. During this time at QUT she performed in numerous works by national and international choreographers. Hsin-Ju recently completed her Masters in Fine Arts degree at QUT, and joined Dancenorth as part of her masters project in 2006. She is now a full time member of the company.

Alice Hinde

Alice studied a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance) at the Queensland University of Technology. In 2005 she performed in the Malaysian Dance Festival in Kuala Lumpur and participated in a collaborative exchange project between Creative Industries Dance (QUT) and the Taipei National University of the Arts. Alice joined Dancenorth in 2006 and performed and choreographed with Kate Harman on their first professional work This you made of me. Alice has performed in Remember Me, Underground, nightcafe, This you made of me and Dis-integration.

Kyle Page

Kyle has been a member of Dancenorth since 2005. He studied dance full time with Barbera Everson at the Australian Dance Performance Institute when he gained an Advanced Diploma of Arts (Dance/Dance Performance). In 2006 Kyle was involved in all Dancenorth productions. He also performed in the sold out season of Meryl Tankard’s Kaidan, at the Sydney Opera House as part of the 2007 Sydney Festival. Kyle has performed in Gravity Feed, Seulle, Underneath, Remember Me, nightcafe, Underground and Dis-integration.

Joshua Thomson

Joshua is a 2005 Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance) graduate of the Queensland University of Technology. In his final year, he was involved in the Expressions education program performing and teaching workshops in more than 70 schools throughout Queensland. Joshua joined Tasdance in 2006 and performed in The Earth Beneath Our Feet. In the same year he performed as the guest artist with Dancenorth for the season of Gravity Feed. He has also worked for The Queensland Opera and the Brisbane River Symphony. Joshua rejoined Dancenorth in 2007 as a full time company member and has appeared in Underground, nightcafe and Remember Me.
