In a small one room apartment high above the snow covered street of Berlin, a man is dreaming of the open lawns of his childhood. In the walls and in his clothes there is a darker past that he is trying to repress…..but it keeps crawling out.
lawn plays in the margins of visual perception and reality, while at the same time providing an edge-of-your-seat narrative tension as it takes us into what one reviewer called “the exquisite horror of banality.” (RealTime, 2005)

lawn is a co-production between Brisbane Powerhouse and Dancenorth in association with Sasha Waltz and Guests, choreographed by Splintergroup and toured by Performing Lines.
