Dancenorth has been recognised in Dance Australia magazine’s Critics’ Survey for 2009. Many critics await in anticipation of the new artistic direction led by Raewyn Hill with Dancenorth noted in the ‘Most Interesting Australian Group or Artist’ category. Dancer Luke Hanna is also highlighted as a dancer to watch in 2010.

Dancenorth will host the popular Flickerfest film festival again in 2010. The programme, run over two days 26-27 of March, will feature ‘Best of Australian Shorts’ and ‘Oscar Shorts’.
