Tiana Lung

Born in Eora (Sydney), Tiana studied at Ev & Bow Fulltime Dance Training Centre in 2013. She continued her full-time training at the New Zealand School of Dance, graduating in 2016 with a Diploma in Dance Performance. Upon graduating, Tiana has worked as an independent freelancer across Australia and New Zealand, touring nationally and internationally.

Tiana has had the opportunity to work with NZ companies: Taki Rua Productions in Tiki Taane Mahuta, Okareka Dance Company in Mana Wahine and on their international tours to the Netherlands, Tahiti, Hawaii, Australia and Canada, Discotheque Dance Company in Missing Lids and SUPER, NATURAL, Muscle Mouth in As It Stands, Footnote NZ Dance’s 2020 Choreco Season in New Dance Group choreographed by Josie Archer and Kosta Bogoievski, and Movement of the Human in Belle. In Australia, Tiana has worked with Kristina Chan on her independent work Brightness which premiered in Sydney Dance Company’s INDance 2024 festival, and with Chunky Move in Token Armies.

Since 2022, Tiana has worked with Dancenorth as a full-time ensemble member performing and touring works by Kyle Page and Amber Haines: Wayfinder, NOISE and a new work choreographed by and in collaboration with Chris Dyke, Lighting the Dark. She also performed in Dancenorth's Tomorrow Makers 5 & 6 where she choreographed and performed her own works; a duo with Issy Estrella roach. and a solo To be honest..
