A descendent of the Ganju Wik, Injinoo and Magarem of Mer Island, and based in Innisfail; Blanco is a dance artist and cultural consultant with a history in performance art.
Blanco has spent time in his residency exploring his life journey, referencing and drawing on his cultural identity and body of works – exploring the juxtaposition of heritage, space, and belonging, with a view to man’s healing.
